Doug is most passionate about coaching and advising small business owners, retirees and their families. Drawing on his experience as a trusted advisor since 1990 Doug has safely guided his clients through various stages of their careers and lives. He is there to help them understand the unique opportunities and challenges they will face as they strive to reach their dreams and goals.
Doug is committed to excellence through education. He holds both the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Charteed Life Underwriter (CLU) designations. This specialized estate, philanthropic and tax planning knowledge adds a unique dimension to the scope of advice that Doug provides.
Doug is actively involved in the community, working with his children’s sports clubs, and other charity organizations such as Make a Wish Foundation and the MS Society. He has also played key roles with major events in Edmonton such as the Brier and World Curling championships.
Doug enjoys spending time with his wife Andrea and their 2 adult children. He is an avid curler, woodworker and golfer. He even found time to become a “Masochistic” Edmonton Oilers fan!
